Select a Campus and Degree Program

If you have chosen to pursue your undergraduate degree in STEM at a university in a major city in India, BITS can be your first-choice school. The main campus is located in Pilani, Rajasthan. Please select a degree based on our counseling and mentoring interactions so that we may recommend the right degree and campus for you, especially given the fact that a single concentration can have multiple variants at BITS.

Eligibility Check

BITS has a sophisticated admissions process, like many other top universities in India. The university requires an excellent academic record and an outstanding entrance test score. A hard-hitting and high-impact statement of purpose is also a major component of the applications process for some degrees with which we will assist you.

Online Application

Visit the official BITS website or the specific website of the BITS campus in which you are interested. This will help you prepare your optional list of preferences. We will also build this superlist for you if you are unsure of where to study for your undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Complete our PAQ questionnaire so that we may gather all the data necessary to prepare your application for admission to BITS. We will also upload the necessary documents required by the university to complete all application formalities. These include:

• Recent passport-size photograph
• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• College transcripts and degree
• Aadhar card
• Other relevant certificates (if applicable)

Once your application for admission is submitted, you will receive an application number to track your BITS application. You are permitted to apply to more than one BITS campus on the same application. BITS also offers direct admission to students who are toppers in their respective board examinations. There is a separate admissions program for international students residing outside India.

Program-Specific Requirements

Many degree programs at BITS, like many other top Indian universities, have additional requirements such as a personal statement, essay, or portfolio. We will check the specific degree program requirements and assist you with the submission process.

Entrance Examinations

Once your application for admission has been submitted to BITS, you are ready to appear for the relevant entrance examination conducted by BITS. Depending on your degree requirements, you might have to take the BITSAT entrance test if you are planning to pursue undergraduate study. BITSAT is designed to test your knowledge of high school Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Logical Reasoning. There are other entrance tests for postgraduate applicants about which we will brief you down the road.

Final Selection and Admission

Based on your entrance examination scores and other factors such as academic record and program-specific requirements, BITS will shortlist you for consideration. Shortlisted applicants will be called for further interaction rounds, which will include a personal interview and group discussion, for which we are standing by to prepare you.

Admission Confirmation

If you are selected, you will receive a formal offer of admission from BITS. You will need to accept the offer and pay the tuition fees, including on-campus housing costs, before the deadline, to confirm your admission. Many BITS campuses provide on-campus housing that is reasonably priced. Admission to BITS is based on a combination of factors, including entrance examination scores, academic performance, interviews, and counseling. We recommend that you commence your journey early because you will be required to appear for their entrance test and deliver a stunning performance!
